[00:00:00] Welcome to the One Thing podcast, where we all get to usher in the new age of humanity,

[00:00:23] homo-spiratus, by practicing dancing and the first thing is by saying that there's a difference between

[00:01:41] conceptual embodiment and being involved, having an embodied connection.

[00:02:44] worrying and, you know, all the things that our mind tends to do. And this giving the reins only to our head leaves out such an

[00:02:51] inordinate amount of wisdom that lives in our body.

[00:02:55] And this leaves us really when we cut this part of us ourselves off,

[00:03:00] we, it leaves us unable to feel how we most want to feel and act,

[00:03:06] how we most want to act.

[00:04:05] the presence of life, the higher intelligence, the divine mind, love, whatever you want to call it, source spirit, the great, the great mind, right? I mean, there's the great spirit,

[00:04:13] there's a lot of names that we can put to it. And to me, that is carried by light. And so

[00:04:18] when I flood myself with light, when I invite light in through the top of my head and into

[00:04:23] all of my energy centers, especially when I get to my to light, I return it to love, I do that through my heart, I do that through my connection to the one thing, and then it changes the energy. And it isn't temporary. You know, when we do externally, when we do modalities externally to this embodied experience,

[00:05:41] it usually isn't, it usually is temporary, and then we wonder why things keep coming back around.

[00:06:46] graphic is accurate, but it's where I just have a a phrase and I'm flooded with with with that light. And the phrase for me is

[00:06:55] higher love and wisdom. And it's important to me because what

[00:07:02] that phrase activates in me now and I again want to emphasize my bio field with light and balancing my meridians and my chakras. And a number of other things having to do with balancing, activating and integrating my core archetypal energies. After doing all of those things in slow motion, if you will,

[00:08:21] very deliberately and methodically and as then I go into long hand. Then I'll do, you know, very deliberate steps that I learned to do in the past that I don't seem to need to use very much today.

[00:09:45] Yeah, that's such a good way to gauge. Yeah. Yeah. I was, I was working with a woman last week and actually this happens all the time, but this is just, you know, a recent thing to share is that this woman is, you know, she's, she's really into getting things done and being productive. And of course we all are right.

[00:11:01] Like we're in the Western world that we were raised on productivity.

[00:11:05] It courses through our blood. This is just how I am. And this is the interesting thing because I have plenty of other women. I mean, I've heard this for probably three decades. And I probably mentioned it before on the podcast. Oh, no, I'm just a worry or that's who I am. Well, my point is, and our point is, is that when we become present and embodied,

[00:12:22] and we're willing to actually choose

[00:13:27] It, you know, we all know that stress is the underlying, you know, the underlying reason for 98% of disease and problems in our body, mind, body, and life. And so I think that tending to this piece,

[00:13:33] tending to this embodiment with our with the one thing with our higher intelligence is probably one

[00:13:40] of the most foundational bricks that you could lay. There's a signal that I am out of taught embodiment, taught connection, because when I'm because we're unwitting conduits of the collective distress, but our work is to remain present and conscious,

[00:16:26] and then to allow the higher wisdom, you know, the great spirit to teach us when we go over the line 80% of the interactions are loving and connective and enjoyable and 20% are distressed. That's not how it, I'm not trying to imply that that's how it should be. I am trying to say that relationship research has revealed that couples, both of And we only have to access, have access to that higher wisdom when we're in our body. And so the first goal is to shift that 80, 20 percentage to 80% in a state of taught embodiment

[00:19:00] and ease and 20% under pressure as a way station and chronic disease and, you know, struggling immunity and all the things, right? There's just, there's a lot of imbalance and dis-ease, you know, in the world right now.

[00:20:21] And what if a large part of it is,

[00:20:24] it has to do with this, right?

[00:20:26] What we're contributing to the collective consciousness, you know, a healthy energetic rather than an unhealthy energetic. So did you have anything else you wanted to say on that? No, I think you covered it beautifully. Yeah. Yeah. And so it's a daily practice for me to be on the lookout for that, to notice that when I have moved into my head as rapidly as well. And I would add a similar message from a slightly different angle, which is that if we're choosing between hard and hard, then hard is not the criterion to use about which

[00:24:24] choice to make. in England. The tube. And it kind of, I mean, it sounds dramatic, but I would also say that, you know, consider how death-defying it is to not mind the gap between your head and your heart and your embodied self. It's got from TOT. So the point of making a daily practice of noticing that without judgment is that that noticing, the acknowledgement of, I don't like how I feel or I don't like what I'm saying

[00:27:02] or I don't like where tension tends to instantaneously show up, then you might want to get to know that in your own body. And then, and then do this practice where you drop in, you go to that place, you take some breaths, you maybe direct that breath,

[00:28:21] those breaths into that place in your body and just keep breathing with

[00:28:26] acceptance, without judgment.

[00:29:28] body doesn't experience TOT connection, it doesn't matter what we know in our head or how much we believe we are connected to our heart. If our body hasn't come along for the ride,

[00:29:34] then TOT connection is not fully established. Yeah, very beautiful, beautifully said, yeah.

[00:30:47] practice. It just keeps resurfacing over and over in various situations. All that means

[00:30:55] is that that theme is calling for deeper healing. No harm, no shame, no fault, no blame. We all have baggage. We all have undigested life experiences where we haven't fully harvested

[00:32:03] because it's ready to be healed and released and transformed. Otherwise you wouldn't be aware of it.

[00:32:05] It wouldn't be coming into your conscious awareness.

[00:32:09] And most importantly, if something is coming up like this,

[00:32:14] it does not mean that you are wounded or broken irreparably.

[00:32:18] It simply means that you, like every single one of us,

[00:32:23] have the capacity to tend to the energy to you. And we would love to hear your comments. And we also love to hear from you. What topics that you might want us to talk about in our next episodes. And until we hear something from you, then we'll just keep picking. But we'd love to have an exchange with you so that we know, you know, what might be

[00:33:41] juiciest for you, especially as we, you know, come into a new year.

[00:33:46] So until next time.
